4 Basic-ish Questions
Yo.
1. How do you remove the steering wheel center cap? I know there was a GB on them awhile back, but I never found out how to remove them. I have an '06 4 spoke wheel. I want to install the SS center cap from the Trailblazer SS. Will it fit?
2. I have an auto. Tough ****. I added B&M synthetic fluid to my dads '04 Monte SS when we replaced his fluid and it worked great. I had mine done a little while back and forgot to put it in mine. If there's only a few thousand on the new fluid, can I just dump it out and put in the new stuff and be ok?
3. How much is it to copy a Cobalt key at the dealership? My girl keeps misplacing hers and I want to get another one made.
4. I'm adding Eibach springs to my stock FE3 suspension over the summer. Is there any supporting mods I need to do? Or will I be sufficient as-is? I have a DC Sports front strut bar, and I plan on upgrading my sway bars in the future as well.
Thanks!

Yeah. That's what I figured. When they go I'll probably just add coil-overs then.
How long will stock FE3 springs last on an FE1 car? I'd like to add mine to my girls LS. I heard it drops it a little.

2. Yes you can replace the new fluid with the B&M fluid. Drain and fill will get most of the stock fluid out. The torque converter holds the majority of the remaining fluid. You could change the fluid twice. That would get most of it but not all of it. Or a local shop may have a trans flusher. The trans flusher my shop has exchanges 120% of the trans fluid with whatever you fill the machine with.
3. Keys are not cheap items anymore. Our cobalts along with ever other GM vehicle have a transponder built into the plastic head which needs to be programed to the car. Last time I had to replace a key if I remember correctly it was about 30 or 40 bucks for the key.
