I came in, in 2002. I had a base sticker for the first 4 years I was in. I was waved in at Charleston AFB, and Shriever AFB (Colorado Springs). In 2006 they canx'd them.

Here is proof. Wasnt 2006 but I was close it was 2007.
Air Force Eliminates the Requirement for Vehicle Decals

Dyess is the first base I didnt have to have one on the car. I got to Dyess in 07. I am still active duty (10 years).

i remember this, people definitely started complaining about it lol. especially drill weekends, the damn weekend warriors would get backed up at the gate instead of being waved through.

we have some people out here from dyess. or did lol. pretty sure my chief that just left was from dyess along with some others. whats your job?
