Oh my friend that owns the Camaro (I think I spelled it correctly this time) said that the LNF guy had done mods to get something like 460 horsepower. I'm guessing that sounds possible, since the 205 LSJ can be modded to 300 according to the LSJ Power Book.

I put two cars on a 5th gen camaro on a highway from a 100 km roll (60 mph) Dude met up with me in a parking lot about 5 mins later, he was a stereotypical "bro" white sunglasses and all. Was like "dude what the **** you have in that thing?!?!?" I told him it was just a base model bone stock cobalt (I'm SS debaged/spoiler less to look like a ls/lt - sleeper) his passenger (also a bro) was ripping on the driver pretty badly "brah you just got walked by a cobalt". I felt pretty bad after my **** eating grin faded
If your making 300+ WHP ( mustang not dynojet ) we can definitely be competitive with a camaro/v8 from a roll. Higher the start speed of the roll, the less disadvantage a FWD has VS RWD. At 100km(60mph) + it's all power/weight/driver.
Racing a camaro from a stop/quarter mile is throwing the ball in the camaro/RWD court for sure. You need heated fatty tires, LSD and a wicked driver mod to be competitive
Even if you can hook up and deal with TQ steer, As any car (RWD/AWD/FWD) accelerates, the center of gravity shifts to the rear of a vehicle. This helps RWD hook better as it plants the back end more.
