Advice/ Help Wanted

ok here's the deal. im gettin my cobalt this weekend and im wondering if anyone knows how much the GM family discount is?

also, im getting a laser blue 07 ss/sc. sticker says 22 and some change. salesman said he can sell it to me for 18,5 after the discount plus the $1,000 rebate on cobalts right now. does that sound about right? any input would be much appreciated

Well the problem here is that you chose Smart Buy on a vehicle that doesn't really have a smart-buy deal...
edit: plus it seems u dont have any discounts, and prob got a high APR. I'm paying $293/month for my $24,000 equinox and thats with the gm discount

no smart buy.... lease. It was the lowest payment I could get on the exact car I wanted with $0 down. No regrets, but using it as an example that 17k for an SC is awesome!

If it's a true Gm pricing than ask to see the invoice and on the right hand side about a 1/4 down it will say GMS and have a price beside it. That is what you should pay before rebates. My MSRP was 25,655 and I paid 23,147.00 b4 rebates.

damn... i got the same SS back in September for $21,300 (US). I got a GM supplier discount because I work for International Paper as well as a GM loyalty discount (my last 7 cars had been Chevrolets, my mom's last 5 cars have been Chevrolet and my brothers' last 4 cars had been Chevrolets/Oldsmobiles)

Anyways, you're going to love the laser blue.

Bought SS/SC yesterday under the Family Plan. MSRP Cost was $22780, GMS Cost was $20398. I received $2500 in rebates so I paid $17898 plus TTL. (Numbers do not include my trade).

My 05 Cobalt base coupe was my first and last black car. it looked AWESOME clean, but clean usually lasted about 20 minutes and then dust and pollen would settle on it.

What sold me on my car was the sleeper appeal... it was a SS/SC but had the base wing on it... Because of that, the car is very unassuming and many of the big wing ricer idiots up here have fallen victim to that sleeper style... i even pulled the supercharged emblems off of it, just for effect.
