No way! The car will pull like a raped ape with it on during the winter! Trust me on that, but you have snow to contend with so don't get on it too hard!

I'm keeping my INJEN CAI on, theres not that great of a chance to get enough if much at all water/snow in there to hurt it.

Ok so I'll keep it on... But should I get the AEM bypass valve? Or think that's a waist of money?

I have the bypass and I like it I feel better having it on when it rains since I'm lowered there are some deeper puddles that I was afraid to soak the filter now with it on if I do hopefully it does its job.

I'm lowered too but the only way to get water that far up is sinking my car in a lake. (the 2.2 intake must be a little higher when running INJEN CAI) I see a lot of people freaking out about this, its going to be almost impossible to hydrolock your engine with what little moisture gets in there.

the airfilter is before the tire, so water wont really splash up inthe front as much and there is the plastoc cover where the air filter is so you shoud be fine.

I would say different. I took mine off for the winter. Better be safe than sorry!... I mean it will take you what, an hour or so. But at least no headaches. And if you are going to put those hydro sheilds or wtv, i mean that will take time to install aswell. Just my opinion

Honestly, whats the chances of getting water or anything where the Intakes sit? They are covered from the front by the bumper, from underneath by a plastic sheild, and from the wheel well too. Unless your doing some puddle searching, I think that the intake is just fine.

Puddle searching? You'd have to be lake searching. The only way for that much water to get in is drive into a lake, its protected by plastic and before the wheel...unless you took off the plastic for good...you'll be fine

Yeah i know what you guys mean, but plastic is easy to break in the winter. You might break it and not notice (no likely to happend). Point being, just for a few extra HP you prob wont use much in winter time anyways (most cars are put away) the risk isn't worth it to me. Not in the unpredictable Canadian winters
