hopefully you didn't suck **** up into the engine...if it's just sitting there below the door level, it should be alright.

goodluck, hope everything works out.

More than likely the water when in the exaust and made the engine cut out. Your engine is probalble ok just let it dry, and you might have a CEL because of wet O2 sensor. I live in NOLA as well (Kenner). Now if you check you oil dipstick and the oil is like chocolate milk color then you sucked up water throught the intake. I'm a US Coast Guard mechanic so I know what i'm talking about. hope this helps you

yeah it does, the only reason i'm in nola is because on the coast guard.
btw did you check your car?

DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR if the oil color is like choclate milk. That means water is in the engine oil. You need to change the oil on the spot or have it towed to your hose. If you drive it with water in the oil, your engine will and i mean will LOCK UP.

2 blocks is not bad, because ur engine did not get to hot. When water gets in the oil it does not lubercate as well and the oil will not handle the heat. Just chane the oil where you are at. Whenn you change the oil use cheap oil first to get out all the water then chage it again with good oil all in the same day.

sent you a pm
