well ive been putting it off WAY too long. I NEED TO CHANGE MY OIL NOW!!!

i was gonna change it a few months ago during the fall but everyone said 3k miles was too early. now im at 5800, no change. even my DIC is telling me i gotta change it!

just wandering if there are any places like pepboys or autozone or somewhere that i can pick up some mobil 1 synth for cheap?

PS: is it necessary to change my filter too?

 

yes, change the filter.

 

Walmart. Or Pep Boys coupons; they sometimes have a mail-in rebate on Mobil 1.

You can use other oils too, either regular or synthetic; it doesn't have to be Mobil 1.

 

Wal mart has the jug of mobil 1

 

Wal-Mart is the cheapest I found. You can find a 5 qt jug for around $21.00. I hadn't found any where else have it for a little over 4 bucks a qt.

 

i had to get a proline filter! it was all they had. think it will be ok?
