any problems with stock airbox mod?

Has anyone had a problem running in the wet weather with the stock airbox mod???

No, no problems at all for me. I've driven it through rain, snow, sleet, you name it and it's all good.

had the k n N and put on the airbox mod its the same thing, just the k n N is louder but it gives about the same hp

same here..no problems at all...i do clean the filter maybe every 5-10k miles,so its always in the tip-top shape just incase

no problems here either. Although I'd recommend just buying a proper drop in filter so you don't have to shave and trim to try and fit something else on there. (shakes head)

I've had both the airbox mod and my intake! Had both in wet weather and had no issues!

But the power thing is not entirely accurate! Dyno proof there is more hp gained with an intake!

what hp are you talking about?? Ive raced people same mods as me, with the K&N and it doesnt give them more hp, doesnt feel any different...I mean honestly this thing has been talked about so much the tubes arent bent that drastically to gain alot of hp...The only thing is that our stock airbox is restricted and when you open it up hp goes up just like K&N and so on....Loudness of the intake is different though

No problems at all with my airbox mod. Winter is comming soon but I am going to leave it as is unless we get a good ammount of snow. Also, I have had my car out in some nasty rain and it showed no problems at all!
