Any truth to this about the SS/SC???
Any truth to this about the SS/SC???
Between the reps at the Pittsburgh car show and a few other dealerships around the area where I live...they both said that this is very likely..."Chevy might produce all red on the 1st run...then all black for the 2nd run"...meaning for people like me that preordered a rally yellow or others that ordered a blue or orange or silver might be waiting till last...he said something like only producing one color at a time in bunches then moving on to the next color is what they do...is that how any new car is produced...tell me they can make all differant colors according to whos next on the preorder list??
If you look somewhere on this post... Our very good source.. BANSHEE from this Forum <--who works in the plant MAKING MINE AND EVERYONE ELSES CAR, has said that he has seen a few DIFFERENT colors SS/SC's and as soon as they hit the lot. They are put on a trunk and transported to where they have to go!....
Who better to believe then the person that basicly put a part of your car together.!!!!?

I have heard the same thing from GM reps myself. However I am willing to defer to the prior post basically because I've seen pictures of blue and black, and if he's making them, he's definitely got a better idea of them than I do.
But you're right, I received info from several GM sources that were saying the first run (2005 models) were going to be all red.
