Question Anybody have a build date for their Cobalt?

For those who have a Cobalt on order, have you been given a date of when the car might go on the assembly line? I ordered a Rally Yellow Cobalt SS Supercharged coupe back on August 10th. I called the 1-800 Chevrolet Customer Assistance number and not only was I told they have no build date, I was told that the coupe isn't even being built yet (This is total bullshit because banshee has posted pictures of coupes in the Lordstown lot). I'm getting sick of not only waiting for this car to show up, but also having no clue on info because the people at Chevrolet can't even get their info straight.

Coming soon (hopefully): Cobalt SS Supercharged, Rally Yellow, Ebony with Yellow inserts, Sunroof

I also have no build date for my order. I ordered in Sept.

my father works at the dealership and rest assured the members of this board are better informed than the people at the dealer or the customer support people. I am not sure why chevy ran this big pre order campaign. Since they obvisouly aren't delivering the cars in the time that stated on their web site and numerous other literature I have seen from them. I can't speak for other but this situation is kind of ticking me off. I did get a paint sample card from my dealer tho.

I DO!!!! My Sunfire was rearended today! If they total it out I have to get a new car ASAP!

JonelZ a suggestion:
try to get some dealers to come on here and offer some insight and support....I know most other boards I subscribe to have sponsor dealers or dealership people that watch and answer questions....

Yeah except some of us don't get much if any snow

Although the past two years have been an exception DC hardly ever gets snow and if we do I will drive my other car (Alero) while the Cobalt camps out in the garage all salt free.

We'll do

I know my dealership visits here but they don’t post. How about we all tell our dealers and maybe some of them will post?
