anyone see these= ARC COOL FIN

has anyone seen,heard or used these? i dont see y the wouldnt work cools up to 10*c= 18*f claimed. im thinking top and bottom of my ca/he. what do you think? http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...l-p-45047.html

looks iffy to me. would wanna see independant results before buying.

me to, i couldnt find anything so i thought id ask. i saw the honda guys were using them so maybe they are pointless.

I've never seen these, however, Arc is a very respectable company.

because double sided tape is great for thermal transfer..

its an interesting idea, but, I think you'd see surface temperature drops of 18f, not coolant temperature drops

Yeah, even with thermal trasfering tape I don't see this making enough of a difference to justify the cost. Not to mention, you really aren't cooling anything except the surface tempurature which is pretty pointless. I guess if you could stick it on and make it look cool you would get some asthetic value out of it, but performance wise it is worthless.

yea overtime that would mean the coolant temps would stay lower

they work for lowering egt,s i read it in a modified mag i have here at the house on cars with larger turbos it help get the temps down... i wish i could find the mag but sadly i can not... but the did do extensive research in this idea and found for EXHAUST it was actually not a half ass bad idea.. just my 2 cents

good company but get brilo pads and tape them to whatever you need its just a heat sink.

They do work. ARC would never sell a product that didn't work.

ARC is some very high quality stuff, i doubt they sell bogus parts
