anyone use gmpd.com?

I need to get the timing chain tensioner replaced and I've decided I'm just going to take it to the dealer so I don't screw anything up. When i got the quote, they said the part itself was $54.xx. I can get the same part from gmpartsdirect for $31.07 + $12.95 shipping. Not a lot of savings but it's something. Before I order, has anyone here ever used them? Had any problems? Was the part legit? Just wondering before I order this thing. Thanks

I got my timing chain tensioner from crate engine depot, but have ordered exhaust gaskets from temps with great results.

I looked at them too but price + shipping is more (more than dealer). Just didn't want to buy it from gmpd and wait 4 months for it.

I used them once. Price was good. Parts showed up in like a week. No complaints.

I ordered an oil pan from them. Price was reasonable and it arrived in less than a week.

Did you see if the dealer will price match?

No, sure didn't. That's something I'll have to check out.
