auto light on auto light off wtf

auto light on auto light off wtf

Hi i have a 2008 ls and some time the auto light turns the head lights on and off for 2or3 time and night out. Have you all had this happen to your car let me know

I'm not sure exactly what your experiencing but could you have a burnt out light? I know in my '98 SF GT when a light burnt out it would flash when I turned the headlights on to let me know there was a burnt light.

sorry what i saying is that u can be going down the road and i will just turn off no lights and it will say auto lights off then they will just turn back on and it will say auto lights on

maybe a short in the circut? I would take it to the dealer. Do you still have your warrenty?

I agree with the other poster, there has to be a short in your stalk somewhere. I would go back to the dealer and explain how this happened while you were driving on the highway at night and you suddenly couldn't see the road well. Appeal to their sense of safety.

If they still claim they cannot do anything because they can't replicate it, call GM's customer service. Explain the situation and that you are worried for you and your passenger's safety when on the road. Something will get done.
