How do you disable that sensor so that you can drive around at night with your markers and fogs on only? As it stands, when i go into an indoor parking lot my lights turn themselves on... nobody needs that ... Help, please...

 

if u wanna drive w/ markers just turn your knob to the parking lights..i think its 2 clicks up... you can turn off the auto lights by turning the knob downward your DIC will say auto lights off, but your daytime running lights will still come on once you release the ebrake... so you have to turn the knob to your parking lights to get your daytime running light to turn off, there is no way to disable ur running lights that im aware of...

Thanks for the info... i did see a video clip of an SS/SC driving at night with his parking lights and fogs only (no daytime running lights)... Still new at this... i looked in the how to forum and did not find anything.

 

For the canadian version, you can't disable the auto-lights feature, unless the car is in P (or N for stick) - it's in the manual.
