Baby Seat

Good day,

I was wondering if there were any older owners with kids? and if they have to install a baby seat in the back? and if so, did they modify the back seat so the baby seat doesn't leave a impression into the leather? i.e. a plank of wood or something to disperse the weight evenly?

Thanks

I've never messed with a baby seat (whew, lol). But I would think a thin pillow or something perhaps, since wood would (hmm) just leave impressions elsewhere, eh?

Yeah, I'm very thankful I've never had to deal with a baby seat, but I would suggest some of that egg crate foam under it. A pillow might work but I don't know if it would be too thick or not.

I'm sure you could get some 1" thick hard foam from a upholstery shop and attach it to the baby seat with some strong glue and it should reduce that.

Put a folded up towel under it, that's what I did and it worked great I also got a buddy of mine with his own uphostery shop to make a new seat cover for my son's seat it now matches my SS black w/ yellow insert

I have two booster seats and a baby seat in the back and I just put folded towels under them- works great.

I hvae a rearfacing child seat in mine, its fine......

it's the one that when they turn 1, you turn it around for forward facing, doesnt damage a thing....
