Bass lover brahs pt. II, door speakers installed! (Question)
Refering to the post I created a while back: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/gene...eakers-288415/
I finally got an amazing deal on a pair of speakers, some Kenwood 3-way (70 RMS each, 140 RMS for both) they sound AMAZING, and for those who said...
"Oh you won't get any BASS out of 6.5" speakers" guess what, THEY BLAST!
To the point that my doors shake and make an annoying noise when the bass hits in songs.
The question is... how can I somehow "reduce" the "shake" (or vibrating noise, however you call it) on the door?
Looking around myself, I've came to the conclusion that the parts that make the most noise is somewhere near the speaker, and in the side of the door panel where the cups are.
I'm thinking for the speaker side I could add the foam that the stock speakers have? So when the bass makes it tremble it won't hit on the door?
And for the cups on the door panel, I might have to add another screw on the side, I noticed when I held it to the side with my hand it would stop making the vibrating noise.
Anyone who changed their stock speakers let me know how you guys did it. If you're gonna write "that's common, cobalts are cheap-made" my right door shakes more than my left, then I suppose there should be a fix or a way to improve it.
Thanks in advance.
Speakers Installed (I used the Scosche speaker mount):
Where the noise comes from:
Oh and also got my LED license plate bulb from China today, looks pretty good for a 2$ shipped bulb

I've never had any issues with rattling with the doors. But I would try some foam for the door like the stocker had on it. And try some double sided Velcro on the cup handle on the bottom side where it can't be seen.

I know that feel man, it's like the sound is perfect and not distorted at all... yet the doors ruin it
