i have an optima interstate battery yellow top. are these things universal can i through it into my cobalt, it came out of my 1990 f150, but the battery wasn't even the one for my truck.

well gave it some thought asked some buddies they say i can install the battery because weither the battery is larger than the stock it just means i have more storage for power. but having more area to hold a charge does this mean that my alternator will work more or no effect at all. the optima i have wil fit in the trunk. ohh my parts from mrz came in and damn they are sweet looking get those strut caps before there sale is off man thay hide that ugly rubber nice no tools just push on. the strut bar looks sweet.
