so as the title states ive been shopping around for a new vehicle. i was looking at a '10 cobalt ss for trading in my 06 lt. after 5 emails back and forth with the dealer the best price they can do for me is 22,745 plus taxes, tags and fees. on a black on black ss with lsd. a little high if you ask me but it is a 10 model.

but in the emails they were asking me options and yada yada and i said i want lsd and the aux wire for mp3 only. they keep responding they dont know what lsd or g85 package is lol even though they clearly found a car with one to quote me with.

now its not my first go around buying a car. the sticker price is 25,750. so they didnt even give me supplier pricing they gave me the monthly incentives and that was it. they would not honor any gm loyalty or bonus cash on this model either. they also said they would not transfer the trunk lid to make it wingless or tint it for me. they said they would refer me to there tint place that does their demos and quoted a price of 390.

soooo with all of this being said css help me with some other ideas for cars to look at. no real preference on color or make/model this is just to get some more ideas. just no trucks/suvs there not for me. my budget is 21,500

I like my 2010 and I payed 23k for mine after I had to roll over some $ "06 ss" I probably could have gotten it for 20k if I didnt have to roll over

The options I have are the rpd, aux, sunroof, etc. The only bad is no lsd dammit lol

car dealerships will try to screw u over any way possible. i looked at a 98 mustang cobra, one of my favorite cars, and the dealer didnt even kno that the rims on it were aftermarkets. buying a car sux... good luck bro

yea please delete my quote, im a moron. LSD is a $500 option but im pretty sure every single SS/TC built has it, as well as RPD. I've looked at dozens and every one has it for 2010, even though it's optional. somehow g85 is still around, but its ONLY LSD - i looked it up too

I don't recall seeing G85 on the sticker in the trunk and my car was manufactured Feb 2010. I have everything from sunroof, the the iPod aux, to the RPD. But I don't have LSD. I guess I could try a burn out and see if I get one or two lines

Edit: I traded in my G5 plus some cash and got my car $24K out the door (after all the taxes and crap that you end up paying. I think the car was $23,700?)

its cool man i was stating fact about the post. i wasnt gunna start flaming you. i hate how a lot people start that on this site now. its all good.

but ironically i just got another quote from a different dealership about a same car just on there lot for 19,230 and possible for another 1000 off with my loyalty.

but im still open to other ideas.

I got mine 21 out the door by saying I have 21k check ready to pay. Just tell the dealer you have 21,500 waiting and see what they do. otherwise walk away and see if you get called back.
