Yea, you can up your rev limiter, you can select when your fans come on. You can tune it for less power in first... Just about anything you can think about...

ive gone 14.8 on stock tires so possibly w/ just a pulley and a tune and maybe even a heat exchanger i could do pretty well. i will bump this thread after work cuz i know tons more people will be on here but i apprecxiate all the advice and opinions

you might not want to lean out the stock tune too much if you care about having a melted catalytic converter, thats one reason why they come a bit rich, plus the extra fuel help goes for cooling. Timing is where you get the power, but i don't know if theres much advancing you can do with the stock setup. Raising the rev limiter and turning on the cooling fan are definitely good ideas, and disabling the boost cap and any codes you get from removing **** like a catalytic converter.

I plan on getting hptuners this summer to start dabbling in my tune since my warranty finally expired. With only stage 2 and 2.9" pulley i already see slight knock in some gears so thats why i don't know if theres much advancing you can do without cooling upgrades like methanol injection.

you can lean out the stock tune, but you better be careful. Also, you better adapt your tune to the weather conditions. Like someone stated, having your A/F ratio a little rich helps with cooling. When you run lean, your combustion temps get a little hot.
