Best Fitting Bra?

im getting sick of seeing 1000 bugs splattered on my bumper already, I rather have them caked on to a nice peice of fake leather then my brand new cars paint job. So where should I look for a bra? I dont want something that looks cheesy, I want it to fit nicely. Does GM make one?

Those are nice. The key is finding the right support in the proper band/cup combination. Also have to decide on things like underwire, padding, gel, water, etc. So many things to think about.

If you're looking for a fake leather one, might I suggest a **** shop? Otherwise any department or discount store will do just fine...

OK to answer the question, I like the 3M paint protection film. As for the fake lether stuff...I don't know, I'm sure there's one out for the car by now.

ack.. don't do that to your Cobalt! Car bras look so weird and ugly! The front of the Cobalt looks cool, don't cover it up. I do understand your point though. But whatever floats your boat..

if you use a bra it will discolor your car compaired to where the bra isnt. with our cars being in the sun equally all the time its not very noticable. but if you were to have a front bra on it during the sun on your car. then the day you take it off it will be very slightly off color from the rest of your car. not to mention that in the winter when snow gets under there it will melt and not to mention it will justt stay there and get your water spots which you dont want. so how bout u just clean it 2x a week if you can.

The 3M paint protector is really good. Essentially, its a clear barrier for the front of the vehicle. Helps protect against stone chips as well.

Check it out here:

Modern paints are fade-free. If you wash the car often, you would never notice the difference. This is a myth.

Use the 3M bra. Looks like nothing is there, and makes cleaning up bugs, biird ****, and just about anything else your car hits easy! Plus you never have to take it off, and it is 100% safe to wax.

I have a factory, GM-manufactured bra for my car. Fits very well, no ripples once you've installed it and had it in the sun for awhile. I tend to take it off and on now depending on where I'm driving. Very simple to install, once you replace the front bumper bolts with the snap bolts, installation is less than 5 minutes.

I tend to leave mine off for most of the season, only putting it on for long road trips. I havn't noticed any sort of discoloration or fading at all in the paint colors, and agree that it is probably a myth. Also, the appearance isn't too bad, and the black bra on my arrival blue was actually a pretty cool look. I've seen the same bra on a silver `balt in town and it looks funny.

Anyways, hit up your dealership and I'm sure they can get you one, I'm pretty sure mine was less than $100 (it was a gift).

Be careful with bras. If sand gets in between it and the car it will scratch the paint like crazy. It basically like sand paper. That is the only down side I have noticed when using one. I would rather just wash my car more often then take that chance.

The paint won't fade if you wax the car before you put the bra on. And just use paste wax every five washes. And the paint won't fade.
