You can do anything you want as long as the part you change is not in direct effect of what caused your car to mess up.

I wouldnt do much more than stage 1. You might get by with a cold air intake and lowering springs depending on what dealership you use.

A lot of people are telling me to go with hptuners or trifecta tune but i heard that will void your warranty right? whats the comparison between these tunes and the gm stage 1?

Yes is GM finds the tune your warranty is gone. You can get more power from the other tunes (not sure how much) but I liked my warranty while it lasted lol.

True. I still have the warranty for a couple years so why get rid of it now. I just wish i could make it faster and still have warranty but i guess i cant have my cake and eat it too right lol.

I have GMS1, Catted DP, Catback Exhaust and Intake, and have never had any warranty problems, in fact they gave me a whole new engine (porous block) and reinstalled all my aftermarket parts. GMS1 and the DP are by far the best gains as far as staying within warranty, but like everyone else said, your dealership might be a pain in the ass, so I would ask them first.

It doesn't matter what the dealership says... GM pays the bill.

I don't know too much about the ZZP, but I think they are all very similar. I have heard all good things though. The one thing you do want to make sure of is the slanted o2 bung so you don't set any CEL's.

It wont "tune" for it, but the "learn down" feature is removed, so you will feel a gain with the DP. I felt a very good gain with my DP which I installed after GMS1.

trifecta offers a tune you can turn on and off so when going to the dealer they cany find it but if they have to dig into the ecu for some reason... which is kinda unlikely, but you never kno, then yeah itll prob void your warranty
