Best way to attach Power wheels to roof...?

Looking for a cheap way to secure my kids power wheels escalade to my 4dr roof. Do NOT wanted to spend hundreds for a thule or yakima system and more for a basket.

If I ratchet strapped it to my roof through the doors would it be safe?

Not sure what other options I have. I only have to do it twice so i dont want to buy some big expensive rack.

Was thinking about these style crossbars:

Then picking up a basket for, but still going to be at least $150

Got my kids stroller and subs in the back. Bringing it to a big show in september and need the stroller as well, even with the subs without the stroller it still wont fit. will hang out and have to strap down.

Plastidip your roof, or wrap it. Take off the wheels, put them in the trunk. One strap going throw the roof (front) , and one going threw the back. And your set.

I am transporting it into a car show with me so I cant have it brought by someone else. Roof is already plastidipped, im just going to try and strap it down and see what happens.

Drive slow and put some plastic on the front end if you have a bunch of bugs in your area

Make sure you don't strap it down too tight and dent the roof.

I'd just invest in a roof rack personally, they look great on Sedans.
