Bought another Cobalt!

Bought a Black 2007 LS 5 speed Coupe. 104,XXX miles, its practially a base, all it has is a rear spoiler, no cruise, no power. Guy i bought it from states that it has a blown headgasket, but im not convinced. it ran in his driveway between 219-221 for ~10 minutes. never got hotter than that. has a slight mis-fire, probably needs plugs. Going to do a full tune up, brakes and a T-stat for fun, and see what happens.

I'll post pics when i get it home tomorrow!

If you don't mind spending $50 and have access to a tech 2 you can put on a 07-10 SS steering wheel, I followed the how to and now have cruise and the radio controls.

Nah, too much work to have a shell worth nothing and one hell of a project. Rather put a refreshed motor and trans in mine if need be.

Plus my SS cluster won't work and I'd have to buy another harness

High miles don't scare me with these motors

i was looking at a 2006 sedan with a bad trans (auto) 127K miles, guy wants 1700. trans's are cheap, like $200 cheap. you could go that route.
