check CL man. there all over the place around here. clutches, trans, motors. i had an 06 i bought for $500 with a blown motor. 78K miles. got a 2.2 for $200, did brakes, and other misc stuff. into it for around $1100, sold it for $4750 before i got the title back from the RMV. they're great on gas so people are buying!

^ yeah thats a tough call. motors are cheap though if the value is in the car i woulda pulled the trigger.
Did a little trouble shooting....
Hada mis-fire when i bought it. has 104K so i figured id throw plugs in it, either way its going to need them. well it wasnt a plug. i unplugged the Coils until i didnt notice a difference. found cyl 1 was dead. pulled plug and checked compresion - 140PSI. ok so thats fine. swapped coils from cyl 2. problem did NOT move. had a spare set of injectors. swapped #1 out and that fixed it.
onto the overheating. car ran for 45 mins before it went over 227*. touched the hose after the T Stat, it was cold. So i put the new t stat in and it never went over 221* going to run it again thsi afternoon and see if it still stays cool. if it does i will be registering the car on Monday, and then i will clean it in and out, fix the small bit of bodydamage and wait for the title to sell it!
