Bought this camaro ss Ls3 6speed last week. My cobalt really is becoming not so daily driveable so I needed something else. Why not another SS lol. It's pretty awesome car. I love it

The Camaro SS is so underrated it's not even funny. People complain about blind spots and what not because they are morons who don't know how to use a mirror. I drive these cars every chance I can get and dream of owning one (ZL1) someday.

Get some snow tires on it and since its a 4000lb car with 50/50 weight dist. it'll be a beast in the snow!!

Why not? It's the tires that make the difference, not the drive wheels. Not sure why people haven't figured this out yet... it's almost 2014.

I guess you're right if it has good weight on the backend.

can you go with a bigger tire smaller rim on that SS?

The GTO/(new) Camaro/G8/Chevy SS are good in the snow because they have as much weight over the ass end as they do in the front. The old Camaros were front heavy and sucked no matter what, lol.

You might be able to. I haven't looked into it that far. I don't think you can go too small because of the Brembo brakes.

I want to eventually find a used low mile stock GTO to replace my daily driver Cobalt SS S/C ...those have skinny 17's from the factory. Winning

Thanks guys. My mods are going to be full exhaust intake and cam for the start. Later on in the year TVS 2300 will prob be in the works. Cobalt is a weekend/fun car. I can beat the hell out if it and not worry about breaking it.

The blind spot that matters is where the damn A pillar is on this thing. You cant see where youre cornering.

I bought a CTS-V for a daily driver a few years ago and figured with Blizzaks, traction control and stability control I'd have no problem in the snow. Boy, was I wrong.
