Ok So i just bought a 2005 SS/SC yellow. I bought it mainly for a DD and a Winter vehicle. I have a 09 G8 GXP that I'm trying to keep nice lol. Anyway I have some quick questions. I used to have a 04 Ion RL And i modded the crap out of it so i know a lot about the car i;m just curious on the path i should take from the beginning.

The problems with the car is as follows, the front struts need replaced they are clunking, the front bumper is cracked on the passenger front, The rims are peeling badly, the headlights are badly hazed, between the manifold and Downpipe there is a pretty good exhaust leak. and some cosmetic stuff on the interior.
my Question is I have about 1k right now to start the fix and make this a nice DD. So what would YOU start with.
Either get a front bumper and chin assembly and get it painted. Also new Headlights
Replace all Shocks and struts and lowering springs, and aligned.
New Rims and Keep the stockers for winter.
Put on a full exhaust system.

Now eventually i will get everything fixed, just curious on your opinions on where to start.

My RL specs are still in my sig, I'm not going to go that extreme but pretty close.

I'd fix the exhaust leak. New gasket since its almost 10 years old
then do the suspension. You could get a pretty decent used SS/TC suspension and come out with some cash left over.

Then fix the headlights.

get a $100 pair of headlights off of ebay, driving in the dark with foggy lights sucks. also if you just doing lowering springs i see them used for cheap all the time on here and CL.

 

right on the money sir lol. I work at a Car Dealer and it got traded in and they were going to send it to auction. My previous memories got the best of me so i bought it.

Yea The Placement is weird I thought. I will Probably remove Them and Re relocate.

 

I think i saw 1 on Auto Trader for sale a while a go and I think there are only like 20-30 in Canada.
