Broken?

So i woke up this morning got ready for work and walked out to my car. I reach for the door handle like always but it didn't feel solid. I looked at the handle and the forward mounted part was loose literally not mounted. there is a piece that looks broken but I cant think of how that could happen unless the plastic just broke. I looked for signs of a break in but nothing. No scratches finger prints nothing. Gonnna see about getting it fixed today but just kinda strange. Woulda figured if someone tried to break in then the part closest to the lock woulda been the broken part

oh and also it still sits flush and the only way you can tell it is broken is if you pull the handle

I have seen the handles snap off inside. The plastic around the screws holding it to the door cracked and broke. You must be using gorrilla-strength or something. They are just plastic, they can't take it!!

that makes some sense cus last night i took it to the car wash and sprayed it down and my arm was tired from the high pressure wand so i may have pulled too hard.

is it a hard fix or just take it in and get it replaced.

You could do it yourself, you gotta remove the door panel, then its not that difficult, but if you are in warranty, take it to the dealer. They should fix that under warranty. Or buy the Chrome GMPP door handles!!

I know, i saw one cobalt with those, the chrome grille, and nothing else. It looked really sad. It pissed me off because its yellow too. The girl who bought it loved me, but she was a dirty hillbilly skank. When she brought the car in for service she was giving me her cell #, I'm like get the **** away from me.
