I just wish that they'd put one out for the 2.0 as well instead of just a part list and a short blurb about what's on the Gand-Am Cup car with no real instructions on installing performance parts. I guess they figure it gives us more incentive to buy the Stage upgrades and have them put em on...

Im right there with you. The whole thing applies to the 2.2 except for like a page at the end. Although I would like that lower front ground effect piece on the grand am car withe the built in brake coolers. Thast pretty cool.

Actually guys, that build book DOES apply to your 2.0 engines as well. It's the same engine remember. The difference in displacement comes from the 2.0 having a destroked crankshaft. You could easily change out your crank for a 2.2 version. Both the GM part and Eagle make them.

The book isn't designed to be a tell all instruction manual. You can use parts or all of it to do whatever kind of engine mods you have in mind. For the SS, you can pretty much skip the first section (250 HP), and the second (250-400HP), because that discusses upgrading a stock 2.2. The 2.0 already has most of those parts. Not all, but most.

That I'm not sure of yet. I haven't looked at the 2.4 at all. I don't know if they got the increased displacement by increasing the bore or the stroke. The difference betweent the 2.0 and the 2.2 is in the crankshaft stroke, so the blocks are the same. If the 2.4 has a bigger bore, then the block is different. Plus that variable valve timing thing is something I'm pretty ignorant on right now.

The 2.4 has a bigger bore and stroke. So it's more than just eh crank it's over bored too.

88 x 98

LSJ is 86 x 86
L61 is 86 x 94.6
