Whereabouts in AB are you? Which dealer did you go through?
I am about to order my second SS/SC this afternoon as the first dealer I ordered through said she could not guarantee receiving the car at all.

 

Hey turbostang. I thought that I would let you know that I am in Calgary as well. I have been dealing with Larry Burney at cmpclassic. He has been quite helpful, well as much as he can be considering there don't seem to be any dealers that have been given all the details regarding the SS SC.

He has quoted $26,045 without any options. I also asked for the sunroof and side airbags and he quoted 1100 and 395 repectively. Those are all MSRP prices which I should get a deal on through my company. FYI: Car Cost Canada shows that the invoice for the car is $22508 and the invoice for the sunroof and side airbags are $946 and $340.

Based on those options, the Car Cost Canada price and the knowledge that the dealership gets at least a 2% kickback (Info suggests 3-4%) and will want at least 4% profit, I am planning to offer just over $25k + tax. I am hoping that we hear soon whether the SS S/C comes standard with LSD. If not, I will have to wait for the performance package to be offered so I can request another Car Cost report to estimate my offer.

 

What color/options are you getting? Have u ordered yet?
I am going to go through Jack Carter, he has been the most helpful so far. He claims that he can have it build during the week of Mar 14.
If that doesn't work out, time to buy an RSX-S.

No, I haven't ordered yet. I wanted for the official word regarding the LSD.
Have you heard about the performance pckg or whether LSD is standard?

I plan on ordering Black with the seats with red inserts, but I would really like to see an Arrival Blue and Sunburst Orange in person though.

 

I saw both a blue and an orange sedan today. I am not sure if they are the exact shades as the SS (figure they are) but anyhow, I thought the blue was nice. It seemed to be very similar to the blue on the 04 cavy's. The orange did not impress me at all. Very dark looking, again this was almost the same orange they put on the cavy's. I was hoping the orange was similar to the 05 SRT 4 or the 04 Spec V's colors, but it seems more like the copper color that Mitsu put on some 2g Eclipses.

Rally Yellow with Ebony/Yellow inserts and a sunroof. If you find this exact car, drive it onto the nearest car carrier and tell the driver to get it to Classic Chevrolet in Mentor, OH as fast as he can because, THAT IS MY CAR!

 

red one in the lot today....ill get pics this weekend of whatever is there...i thought i seen a yellow ss on a truck..but not 100% on that..
