Bulb inside the CAR

There's a bulb above my sterring whell on my dashboard. WHAT IS IT? It never lights up or does anything and I bought my car used. It's annoying not to know what it is...anyone? COBALT SS SC 05 thanks guys

i have it too. and i dnt think its an alarm light cuz i got manual locks. lol



ive been wondering what it is, its like right to the left of the defroster.

i have it to 07 ss/sc

someone told me once it used for trackin your car....buy it cost money to set it up...parents could use it to find out where there kid is kinda thing....

but thats just what i heard

lol, Set your headlights to "Auto" and then cover the bulb with your hand. Your headlights will turn on.
