Well, I'm new to the forums and I fell head over for the SS with the performance package. but see my friend just bought a STR-4 and my roommate has a redline. and now I'm looking for something that hauls ass and saves gas well, I have a few questions about it. I always seem to see the really nice longer five spoke rims on the SS. can you get the rims with it? and if someone that owns one. please tell me how it drives \ shifts and all that. that would be helpful. one other thing....I've gone to about 15 different Chevy dealerships. why are there absolutely NO cobalt's in stock anywhere?

 

I test drove a Cobalt a few weeks ago and was blown away by the shifter and clutch. They are awesome--nice short and light clutch. The shifter was great too. I jumped right in and drove it like I have been driving it for 5 years--took no time to get used to.

 

well about the rims no, you cant, but u can buy them from Racing Heart lol (c5s) it was a disappointment for me to see such ugly rims on the cobalt ss (the ones thats on there now) so when i get my ss, those rims are gonna be the first to go........... ABOUT how there no cobalts, sure there is base, Ls and LT, just very rare to see a unsold SS, because anyone that wanted one had em ordered a few months ago, so as soon as they come in someone owns em lol............
