I'm about to buy a SS/SC and got a few questions..

1-When taking the recaro package, do you lose the heating seats found in the regular leather ones?

2-For winter... what is the minimum size for steelies? 17? 16??? where do find them? only at the dealer(5x110 is rare!)... how much? My dealer did not seem to know for sure... he only told me : it will cost you a lot!

1) It doesn't matter what seats you get, whether you get the Recaros or the leather with inserts, you cannot get heated leather seats on the SS/SC. (Yes, it's dumb, but that's the way it is.)

2) 16" is the minimum, look around, tire shops have them. TireRack stocks them. You can use wheels from the SAAB 9-3, Cadillac Catera, newest generation Malibu, Pontiac G6, Chevrolet HHR, Pontiac Pursuit/G5, Saturn L-series, and Saturn Ion Redline...so check ebay, that's where I got my G6 wheels - $65(US) each.

 

I was sure in the literature i have it says heated seats are standard. Maybe thats cause i'm in Canada , i'll know for sure tonight when i try to warm my ass in them...

Buying a '06 SS/SC, in black with the leather interior(no Recaros) with black inserts with sunroof...

first mod the on the list : remove the rear spoiler

 

I was wrong no heated seats... THe 2.4 had them I looked at, but my SS/SC doesn't , still warms my ass tho .

 

i love the rear spoiler yes, i have many emotions, mostly negative, towards your first mod.

i got my steelies and winter tires from canadian tire for under 600 installed. cdn funds. i just had to give them a heads up for the bolt pattern
