How exactly should I ask him to check the status of my SS/SC...Tell him to see if I have a vin number on the order and a build date yet...or should I ask him if the order was even faxed over and accepted yet(ordered in early oct)...is there anything else I can ask him on tracking my order?

 

You should wait till wendsday to ask. All Chevy dealers get a status report tuesday night wensday morning. When you call ask if the car has been released to the factory. This will tell you if the car is scheduled to be built within the week. If it has been relased for a while, ask if they have a scheduled ship date. I think you will find other post on this site specifying the different codes noting the status for your order. I think the 3000 code is released to the factory, and 2500 is pending release to the factory.
