Camera Mount on headrest question

Ive fabbed up a custom mount for my headrest, my question is do most tracks care which side its mounted on? Trying to know before i stick my 3m GoPro mount on as it wont be comming off once its on haha. Only thing i can think is if its on the passanger side...its like a sharp pole waiting to go into the side of your head. If its on the drivers side.. its right behind your neck..

you should be fine if you're wearing a helmet. i know tulsa doesn't care whats inside as long as its not loose and flying around. i had my camera mounted to my rear windshield with a suction cup when i went through tech and he just asked if i had a helmet

up to you. depends on how far it sticks out, what lane you normally prefer, angle of the seat, etc. personally i would mount it to the passenger side that way you can move the seat as well as the mount and camera to get the perfect angle without hindering your driving position

Worst case, grab a roll of 3m tape, and redo the tape on the bottom of the mount. Little heat from a heat gun/blow dryer and it it comes right off.
