can u turn traction control off on a cobalt?

can u turn traction control off on a cobalt?

im looking at a 2.4l ss loaded every option but if i can't turn traction control off i dont want it we have none of them out on the lot so cant go out and look can it be shut off ?

sadly you cannot disable the traction control without putting it in 1 or L.

yes you can... pull the ebrake up a click or two, wont harm it but will dissable it, also there is a fuse u can oull i think its just a Trac fuse or something, ask hackabuse, he pulld that and the abs one, its good for autoX

pulling the fuse will make the pcm have a field day, engaging the ebrake up a knotch still engages it but the line pressure is so low you won't feel it. Over time if you drive like that all the time it can hurt your car.

hp tuners or ls2 edit can disable it but be prepared for hard as ell shifting as mine is doing right now.

just drop it into L or I... the only time the traction control on my old 2.4 gave me any problems was taking off hard from a stop... dropping into I or L will fix that.
