Car falling on its face

Had a decent rain overnight (car was parked). Start driving this morning and get to the stop light, start out and it sputters and doesnt go. Let off goes a bit put it down a bit more and goes to idle with the pedal down. Get up to speed slowly while it still sputters and eventually runs normal.

My guess is the humidity causes water on the MAF and it doesnt read correctly. and eventually dries off.

Ill get the vid i took soon.

In the process of doing that. This happened once before but i wasnt tuned then. Same scenario - decent rain, overnight parked.

did you have your intake then? Might be a dirty MAF or a dirty throttle plate. The throttle plate tends to stick when it gets gunked up.

Grab some MAF cleaner from the parts store and clean it. Sounds like condensation build up.
