Yah I was down in Ocean City and everything was just terrible, it was utterly a living hell and to top it all off my car got keyed by some drunk **** the day I left...Nice big white scratch going down the driver side of the door

 

Gotta love that. People like that **** me off. There's a guy over on one of the Subaru sites that I visit that recently had his car broken into and his stereo stolen, plus whoever ripped his radio off keyed up his entire car...every single panel....

 

thats fcuked up man some ppl are so dumb they **** me off

 

this is why i like the taliban, they catch some ******* doing something like that and they chop off their hands publicly and not many other people would do it. that **** pisses me off to no end

 

Yeah....USED TO BE a gorgeous 2005 STi. The only thing they didn't key was the roof. It's not like they just put a stripe across the panels. They scribbled all over it with the key like it was a crayon. Right in his driveway.

I just don't understand how some people can be such tools.......

 

CobaltSS313, hate to hear you got your car keyed, do you think the scratch is through the clear coat? If it's not it not through the clear coat you may be able to buff it out, before retiring from G.M I worked in the paint department...if I can be of any help please let me know.

I dont think its that bad it just looked worse cuz i was so pissed...im going to try and buff it out and hopefully that will work its not really deep only in one spot...if worse comes to worse ill just get it painted

 

Some people are just idiots. Mainly jelous. I cant afford a nice car or i spend to much on alchohol that i cant afford a nice car so ill just ruin somone elses. Ignorant people. I had a guy yelling at me the other day becouse my car was nicer then his so he should be allowed to change lanes into me.

I'm not sure what the plants using today but the product we used when I was there was 3-M Finesse-it II, probably one of the safest products to use on basecoat/clear coat. This is a great tool to have http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/S...41d+1079089426 , I would stay away from a rotary buffer unless you know how to use one....doing it by hand will probably get you by. I've had my car about a month and last night someone in the apartment complex where i was visiting hit my car and put a HUGE scratch in the bumper.

This just has not been a good weekend for cars!

Going to try and buff it out tomorrow before work!

I love the PC..

rule of thumb is if you run your nail or a credit card across the scratch and it gets stuck you wont be able to buff it out.

If I came out and saw somebody breaking into my car or intentionally damaging it, I wouldn't hesitiate to cap them right in the ass. Perhaps even multiple times, not enough to kill them of course though. People are just such ********, its unbelieveable.
