My floor jack won’t get high enough to lift my wife’s Cobalt.
I was going to use a block of wood but then I found these jack extenders in a google search.

Looks like a great idea. Anybody tried these?

How high do you need the car? I could get my car up easily high enough to put jack stands under it and work under the car on a creeper.

 

my 2.5 ton craftsman easily lifts high enough for my car let alone my dads truck, but i'd say just use a solid 2x4 or a 4x4 on a flat surface... a set of nice ramps would be a good investment too thou, i also got a set of them

 

i have to use a small jack just to get on my 2 1/2 tom jack
which then lifts it to the sky
what more do you need?
