Sticker on the 06 is $24000 - this SS\SC has been sitting there for a few months. Car salesman even told me that they need to get rid of this car, it's been here too long. He wouldn't bugde on the price - He told me that the GM employee discount does not apply to the 06 models. I said, you can't knock off a few grand just to move inventory? He says not on this one, but I have 2 other SS\SC's that arent as much. We walk over and they are not SS/SC's only SS's @ $19000 - I said, "these arent the same, not supercharged". He said, "yes they are". I left at that point.

 

What a stupid salesman, I was going to order an 06 but the price was 26995 and the guy wouldn't budge. He even showed me the GM paperwork that said he can't give ANY discounts. Not even since I was a repeat buyer. So I found my own 05 SS/SC for WAY less

 

How much do you guys think an 05 SS/SC will be worth in say 1 - 2 years?

 

$14,000 - $17,000, Chevy's go way down in price after just a few min off the lot.

 

I had a conversation with a Dealer in Woodbridge, Ontario when I was looking for a 05 SS/SC and he only had the 06 SS/SC in stock.

He called me a week later telling me that he would be able to come very close the dealer discount if I wanted the 06 model. I already bought the 05 from another dealer.

Anyone in Ontario looking for the 06 SS/SC should go see Roy Foss Motors, they have at least one black car in stock.

 

It is going to be hard to get GM to budge on prices this year... they are starting to fade that whole bargain thing out fo their line

 

if a dealer wont budge, then go somewhere else, and come back with their price

 

****! The dealership that I went to wanted to put me into the SS! He kept running numbers and running numbers, at one point getting down to $18.500 (the sticker was 24,something)! I just couldn't swing the payment.

Oh well... I still like my car. But I keep hearing, "Why didn't you get an SS?"

I got mine before the GM employe rebate on june 15th I had to wait one month, I got it at cost +4% with Alcoa. You could not deal a 2K5 SS Sc
Only about 150 in Quebec

 

Tell them another dealer is offering you this much.......don't say who or where and then leave your number and walk away. They will call you if they want your bussiness. Don't forget that they will try to get the most they can from you...................don't let them win. It's the same with women.................gotta hit on 100 to get 1.
