CARB may be overturned
On CNN they said the feds gave the go ahead for the automakers to sue California over the CARB rules since it is up to the feds to regulate vehicle emissions.

I can't find it on CNN either, but something tells me this might just have to do with the new standards which are to take affect 2009 that everyone had been making a stink about. Thats if I had to guess though.
Sorry... but as a student of Envorinmental Studies... global warming is a real thing... but I'll agree... CARB regulations aren't doing anything to help the case... I hope they do overturn it...
I'm confused anyway... The states are allowed to make any laws they like, as long as they don't un-do a federal law, but they can increase an already standing law. CARB for example. Then, it's the automaker's choice to sell in the state. There's nothing forcing them to do so.
Federal - State legal issues always favor the state...

Its true global warming is happening. Its also true that us humans do contribute to the problem. But the whole truth is that we contribute only .02% of green house gases. Mom nature does the rest all on her own, all 99.98% of it. California should sue mom nature not the auto manufacturers.

It is pretty funy though. Cali tries to sure the autoworks for emissions, and they get the go ahead to sue Cali for thier regulations!

Typical conservative bs, don't agree with something? Then label it liberal, sure way to win an argument!
