Carbon Fiber Question

Im gonna be putting my new carbon fiber hood on tonight and I was wondering if there were any specific things you have to do when cleaning it. I mean can you treat it just like a regular hood meaning you can wash and wax it the same way. This is my first piece of carbon fiber I have ever had on any car I have owned and I want to make sure I take good care of it

yup
it should be ready to rock as-is.

Youll be a little more careful with it, but youll see why once you get it on.
its not a 45lb hunk of metal...and you have to be gentle with it.
