check engine p043

check engine p043

anybody know what it means? got the cel yesterday and had it cleared about an hour after and it hasnt came back today

never seen that code listed for this car before

P043 Front Oxygen Sensor Signal Lean

but thats the generic code for it

just incase you forgot a 0 this is the generc for that one, but cant be thrown on our car

P0430 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2). (V8 or V6)

thing is the cobalt should only show as p0420

yeah its right here but like i said, I just went through HP Tuners and those codes shouldnt be kicking for this car

sensor could be going bad, possible pinched wire

did you skip the rest of the post, he forgot the 6, we knew the codes seemed wierd, then when he posted he forgot the 6 it was all straight
