I have noticed that the SS's have a chrome ring around the shifter boot. i would like to have this for my LT. My question is can these rings be removed from the console, second question would be where can i get one and would it fit on my LT.

 

I believe it would be too big for a ls shifter. If im not mistaken the 2.2/2.4 balts with 5spd. have a smaller base around the shifter than the ss/sc
