Cleaning????
Not sure if this thread should go in General or in Appearance.
Sup everyone, I just got my Cobalt a week ago and I'm loving it. I just got one problem, I do not have access to a hose in my apartment, but still want to keep my car looking clean. Can anyone suggest any spray and leave on cleaners for Rims and Wheels. Also is there any thing I can use besides just water on the little spots I get, i.e. Bird Krap or drip marks..
Thanks
James

Best bet is to drive around and find one of those Bays you pull into that have the power washer/sprayers and what not. Not free but it gets the job done. Or find a friend/relative that will simply let you pull into their driveway and borrow their hose. I don't think they would mind if you did that once a week.

whatever you do dont take it to a gas station car wash or any other machine operated wash, there was an incident on here where the pully system scratched the **** out of someones wheels.

Will blow your mind with the amount of cleaning/detailing info and product reviews. I am sure you will find the answer there....That site is like my "auto detailing bible"

Micheline makes this great stuff that not only cleans the rims but actually repels the break dust (you don't have to clean them anywhere near as often). I think it's just called Break Dust Repellent or something - can't miss it it's in a blue aerosol can with the micheline man on it
