Climate Control Help - '06 LS

So on my brothers '06 LS his fan went out a few months ago... We replaced all the fuses and relays, still no fan. Looked like a lot of people have the in line resistor go out, so we got a brand new one from GM and not some aftermarket one, still no fan. Bought a mint HVAC unit on here a few weeks ago from another member, installed that today, still no fan...

WHAT GIVES?!

We night the fan/motor work find cause right now I just have it hot wired with a switch from Menards. So at least he has heat, fan is just either off or on full. All the other functions of the old and new HVAC work also...

ANY insight on this issue would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

What's a BCM? does it have anything to do with the PCM?

When you say HVAC unit do you mean blower motor?
