Cobalt Locks?

How do our power door locks work? I'm buying the lock solenoids from a wrecked balt, and will install them on my cobalt. Would I need the remote that came with the wrecked car? Or can I/the dealer program a new remote to work for these locks?

You will need the remote reciver module as well its located on the passanger side behind the glove box some where.
Also have you looked into it ,to install stock remote locks isnt the same as installing a aftermarket kit.

If the car isnt harnessed for it and all the connectors arent there I dont think I would tackle it by using stock parts.
But thats just my opinion.
