Hey guys i think this is the correct forum to be in mods please move it if needed, thanks, but anyways my friend keeps bragging that his 3.6 litre Yellow 2001 Mustang will be able to beat my car, Cobalt SS/SC but i recieve it in march so i have to wait but anyways, do u guys think i will be able to take his car because i am pretty sure that the S/C'S could, and his is an automatic also, well thanks

I just beat a 5.0 mustang over 120 mph on the highway. I pulled on him hard as hell to! Also through 3rd and 4th I was pulling on him as well. I am not sure what he had done but I clearly pulled on him, all I have is a injen cai, but this was only from a 3rd gear dig as I was getting on the highway and he clearly wanted to test me as he reved his engine. Maybe it was a shity driver but my 2.0 l supercharged engine pulled on him. Also i slowed after passing him to make sure and he went again at the tail end of 3rd i was deff. pulling on him he was about 1/2 car before this. So to answer your question you should be able to beat the the 3.6 mustang. Even in the 1/4 the time sheets dont lie.
