cobalts shifter knobs JUNK!

We have a 06 2.4 ss and the plastic stuff on the shifter that is suppose to look like chrome is peeling off and cutting my wifes hand. So, I going to scrape it all of until I get another knob. I have a hurst 6 speed knob on my z28. Any suggestions for the knob. 5 speed. Thanks.

Its a Cobalt. You'll get that. Door handles are next.

ya my passenger side door handle is starting to bubble... lame
anyone know how to fix or where to ge a replacement?

Ya, I took mine out, and painted them trim black. Same with the silver dash trim.

pm'd you budz. Yeah my trim around the power window switches is rubbing the silver off. Nice job on that trim Karlen.

eh? my car has 100,0xx km on it and my shifter knob still looks new... I have a Key question for you though

Do you wear rings when you drive? my buddy does and shifter knob with 30,000km on it is scratched to ****.

All of the interior parts that look like chrome is just cheap tape covering cheap plastic. When I had my 08 the shifter knob & drivers side interior door handle had to be replaced because of the tape coming off

Yeah my wife has one on every finger. I'm sure thats what it is.
