Okay, my seats say "Recaro" "SS" but they're not ebony with red inserts. I looked at the tag in the back of car. The one under the mat to the left of the battery and spare tire and one of the codes it lists is "G85".

I would still like for someone to to help me confirm that I have it.

 

You definitely have G85. You can only get them with the black on black Recaros, inserts are NOT an option with G85.

 

If your seats say Recaro then you have it. The Recaros only come in one color

 

You've got G-Eighty Five.

 

The true test is to drive quickly around a corner and punch it. If one wheel spins and smokes then definitely DO NOT have it Like the others have said, the Recarco seats are the biggest giveaway that you have G85!!!

I know personally the LSD has helped my launches at the track immensely, not with the Ingalls ED going in, it should be INTENSE!!!

 

soo gay I didnt even know about it when I bought my cobalt! Now I want it too ><

 

Also, the tag on the top of the transmission will clearly say LSD on it.

 

I just noticed this yesterday when we were swapping out my pulley. Good find!!

 

i have on 05 with g85 but the tag on top of the trans doesn't say lsd just a buch of numbers and a bar code. By the way It does say g85 on the stiker and have the Recaro seats and I brought it new. Should i be concerned.
