Thanks for the facebook comment. I must have been lucky he was on and i chatted with him for a while and bought the B3build. Very nice guy and so helpful, now off to research clutch options.

The car shifts fine and drives good for what's it is, but 3 months or so after install i got a constant vibration like if I had solid engine and trans mounts so it's been driving me crazy not sure what it is at this point. So just to take the car back to stock as much as possible and have a reliable car in going back to a stock trans.
Also things like not being able to use the cruise control. Speed tend to bounce just enough that I dont like the way it drives when I use it. Also anything mile related isn't calculated right. So for every like 4 miles only travel it only marks it like 1 mile travelled. excessive clunking and such have make me regret going f40 to be honest at this point I'm more tired of everything.
Only way to have the everything work correctly is to machine the speed sensor opening on the regal trans and install the cobalt speed sensor (bigger than the regal) and install inside the trans and not on the shaft like zzp has it. I learned all that after everything was installed so I wasnt going to remove it to just have that done

Wow, Jason is great to work with, detailed answers to my questions, great customer service. I bought his b3designs budget build, starts with a new 4.05 geared f35, takes them apart, fixes known issues with the production trans, removes the crush sleeve/spacer, precisely measures for a solid spacer and other things that only someone with extensive experience with these things can do. Also adds a lsd, and a core return for mine. It works really good, shifts great, feels nice and tight. I didn't want to take a risk on someone rebuilding mine, I would have gotten a rebuilt trans that has issues to begin with, parts are hard to find and I don't think I could have found anyone that even knows the f 35 anyway. I could actually feel the shafts or something moving in the old trans when shifting haha. Just did a 100 test drive, can't wait for some road trips.

So glad I replaced the trans and not just the clutch. I tore it apart and the shift fork wear pads are gone and the syncro sleeve was wearing into the body of the fork. Output shaft bearing was real loose in case, common. But this thing had so much brass when I changed the oil when i bought the car. The diff bearings had chunks missing from the rollers. I bet it would have went bad very soon. Probably when i was far from home. Love the 4.05 gearing too. I can idle along in bumper to bumper traffic now, and stay in fifth at 65, still bumper to bumper, well not my front bumper anyway, big city drivers suck.
